If you enjoy well written crime novels or thrillers then “Unlawful Things” by Anna Sayburn-Lane will be available to buy from bookshops, Amazon, Hive and other suppliers from October 25th. Anna has placed much of her book around Eastbridge, its Masters and Christopher Marlowe who was probably educated in the school at Eastbridge during the latter part of the sixteenth century. “Unlawful Things” is set in the present day and is a riveting read in its own right. If you have been to Eastbridge, or plan on visiting, then this book will be all the more appreciated. It is a real page turner.
Anna has written a piece about Eastbridge on her blog, explaining her visits to Canterbury and the research she undertook about the Hospital. The depth of her historical knowledge is very evident in her book and we hope to have some copies available on sale at Eastbridge in due course. Meanwhile, do have a look at Anna’s web site and blog on www.annasayburnlane.com.
